1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Runit ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Runit is a basketball playbook and team management application that allows coaches, players, and support staff to create, share, and collaborate on basketball plays and team content.
3. User Accounts
To use Runit, you must:
- • Create an account with accurate information
- • Maintain the security of your account credentials
- • Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)
- • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- • Upload malicious code or viruses
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
- • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- • Share or distribute content that violates intellectual property rights
- • Use automated systems to access the App without permission
5. Team Management
Team administrators and moderators have the authority to:
- • Approve or reject membership requests
- • Remove team members
- • Manage team content and plays
- • Invite new members via email
By joining a team, you acknowledge that team administrators have these rights.
6. Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of content you create (plays, comments, diagrams). By using Runit, you grant us a license to store, display, and distribute your content to your team members as necessary to provide the service.
Content you share with your team is visible to all team members. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.
7. Intellectual Property
The Runit app, including its design, features, graphics, and code, is owned by Runit and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without written permission.
8. Privacy
Your use of Runit is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Push Notifications
By enabling push notifications, you consent to receive notifications about:
- • New team membership requests (for admins/moderators)
- • Membership approval or rejection
- • New plays created by team members
- • Comments on plays
You may disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Runit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. You use the App at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Runit and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runit, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through the Profile Settings.
Upon termination, your access to the App will cease, and your content may be deleted according to our data retention policies.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting the new terms in the App. Continued use of Runit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Runit shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
